Drama at TBS

Drama at TBS is a journey of creativity, collaboration, and self-discovery. From the primary years, where students explore mime, monologues, and storytelling, to the middle years that introduce stagecraft, set and costume design, puppetry (with a special focus on shadow puppetry), and the physical language of Viewpoints—our curriculum builds steadily and intentionally. This vertical alignment prepares students to confidently step into IGCSE, IBDP, and IBCP Drama at Key Stage 4, where academic rigour meets artistic expression.

Purpose

  • Develop students’ performance, design, and devising skills.

  • Foster creativity, critical thinking, and empathy through character exploration and storytelling.

  • Build confidence, collaboration, and communication skills that extend beyond the stage into real life.

  • Prepare students for international standards of theatre education while nurturing their unique artistic voice.
